A Poem for Las Vegas

I was born and raised in Vegas, and last night it was hit by a crazed gunman. A terrorist, who killed 50+ people with over 400 being injured. I don’t want to leave my house, but I know that not a good way to help my community. People need blood (donated), food, transportation, and water. So I’m gonna help any way possible, I’m just REALLY taken aback. First, the hurricane season hit multiple countries, now this…

A Poem for Las Vegas

Haiku’s I Wrote While Having a Good Day At Work

She’s not interested
in saving you
because she
can’t save herself.

R.I.P. Robert Godwin 4/2017

My problem was
never with dying
more so with how
I’m going to.

break me down again
lie and tell me you love me
I wanna be loved.

This One Is for You

I miss you Papa (Grandpa)

Day Sibley

Time has passed
Yet I still cherish your warm smile
and those welcoming hugs I hold dearly,
as you whispered words of encouragement
and tender love.
Now in the hands of God and loved ones
they’ll get to experience the very thing
close to my heart.
Until then…
